2006 New York Code - Deceptive Acts Prohibited.



 
    §  521-d.  Deceptive  acts  prohibited.  It is hereby declared to be a
  deceptive trade practice and unlawful for  a  credit  card  registration
  service to misrepresent in its advertising, promotional materials, sales
  materials,  or  in  any  other  manner  the nature of the services to be
  performed, the  identity  of  the  provider  of  the  services,  or  the
  consequences of failing to subscribe to the services.
