2006 New York Code - Cemetery To State True Location.



 
    §  451.  Cemetery to state true location.  Any cemetery corporation or
  employee or agent thereof that shall advertise in a newspaper,  magazine
  or  other  publication  or  in  the  form  of  a book, notice, circular,
  pamphlet, letter, poster, card, or over any radio  station,  or  in  any
  other way for the purpose of selling lots, plots or parts thereof in its
  cemetery  shall in such advertisement state the location of the cemetery
  grounds, including the city, town or village, and the county and  state.
  A  violation  of  the  provisions  of  this  section  shall constitute a
  misdemeanor and shall be punishable by a fine  of  not  more  than  five
  hundred dollars or not more than six months imprisonment or both.
