  § 21-1105. Advisors.
    The Department of Environmental Conservation shall provide an advisory
  committee  who  together with the state Commissioner of Commerce and the
  director of the office  of  regional  development  shall  constitute  an
  advisory committee with whom the members of the interstate commission on
  the Lake Champlain basin from this state may consult with respect to New
  York  participation  in  the compact. Such members of the commission may
  also consult from  time  to  time  with  other  officers  of  the  state
  government or any subdivisions thereof, as may be appropriate.
