  § 11-0309. Extension of open seasons after emergency closing.
    Whenever  open  seasons  for  hunting,  fishing  or trapping have been
  curtailed by a proclamation of the Governor pursuant to  section  9-1101
  of  this  chapter closing forests and woodlands, or open lands or waters
  to the public, or suspending an open season for taking fish or wildlife,
  because of danger of fire, the department,  at  the  expiration  of  the
  effective  period  of  the  proclamation,  shall  have power, within the
  limits of counties affected by the proclamation, to extend by regulation
  any open season, for a period not to exceed the effective period of  the
  proclamation.
