    § 4305. Members  of board; compensation; disabilities.  The members of
  the board of visitors shall serve without pay, but they  shall  be  paid
  their  actual  expenses  necessarily  incurred in the discharge of their
  official  duties.    No  member  of  such  board  shall  be  pecuniarily
  interested  in any contract for buildings pertaining to the school or in
  furnishing supplies therefor.
