    §  924.  Photo recording. The county clerks of the counties within the
  city of New York may cause parts of documents to be separated  in  order
  to  facilitate  recording and copying by use of a photo copying process,
  provided that  such  documents  are  restored  to  their  original  form
  immediately after the completion of such process.
