2006 New York Code - Powers And Duties


 
    §  451.  Powers  and duties. The county commissioner of public welfare
  shall:
    1. Have all the powers and perform all  the  duties  conferred  on  or
  required  of  a  county  commissioner of public welfare under the social
  welfare law.
    2. Have charge of the county home,  county  hospital,  and  any  other
  public welfare institution maintained by the county.
    3.  Perform  such additional and related duties as may be delegated to
  him by county act.
