2006 New York Code - General Powers.


 
    §  101.  General  powers.  The board of supervisors of any such county
  shall be the legislative and policy determining body of the  county  and
  shall,  except  as  otherwise expressly provided in the alternative form
  adopted by the county, continue to be vested  with  all  the  functions,
  powers  and  duties of the county and of the board of supervisors as now
  or hereafter provided by law.
