Article 1K - Primary Care Council
Section 24-1K-2 - Definitions.

Universal Citation: NM Stat § 24-1K-2 (2021)

As used in the Primary Care Council Act:

A. "department" means the human services department;

B. "primary care" means integrated, accessible health care services, provided by clinicians accountable for addressing the majority of a patient's personal health care needs, developing a sustained partnership with patients and practicing in the context of family and community; and

C. "secretary" means the secretary of human services.

ANNOTATIONS

Effective dates. — Laws 2021, ch. 87 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective June 18, 2021, 90 days after adjournment of the legislature.
