Article 52 - State Fire Marshal
Section 59A-52-24 - Penalty for violation of law or rules. (Effective July 1, 2021.)

Universal Citation: NM Stat § 59A-52-24 (2020)

Violation of any of the provisions of Chapter 59A, Article 52 NMSA 1978 or of any of the rules lawfully enacted pursuant to that article shall constitute a misdemeanor for which the punishment shall be a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500). Each day any such violation continues shall constitute a separate offense.

ANNOTATIONS

The 2020 amendment, effective July 1, 2021, in the section heading, deleted "regulations" and added "rules", after "provisions of", deleted "this article" and added "Chapter 59A, Article 52 NMSA 1978", and after "any of the", deleted "regulations" and added "rules".
