Section 4-36-3 - County power to act as agent; purpose.

A county may act as an agent of the United States government for the expenditure of money authorized by any act of the United States congress.

ANNOTATIONSCounty receipt of wastewater system construction grants. — There are no constitutional or statutory limitations which would prevent counties from being eligible to receive wastewater system construction grants from the environmental protection agency. 1978 Op. Att'y Gen. No. 78-15.
