Section 10-16B-4 - Penalties.
Universal Citation: NM Stat § 10-16B-4 (2020)
A person who violates the provisions of the Gift Act is guilty of a petty misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be sentenced in accordance with the provisions of Section 31-19-1 NMSA 1978.

ANNOTATIONSEffective dates. — Laws 2007, ch. 226 contains no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, is effective June 15, 2007, 90 days after the adjournment of the legislature.
