Article 1 - Definitions and General Provisions
Section 1-1-18 - Oath includes affirmation.

Universal Citation: NM Stat § 1-1-18 (2020)

As used in the Election Code [Chapter 1 NMSA 1978], "oath" includes affirmation in all cases where an affirmation may be substituted for an oath, and in like cases the word "swear" includes affirm.
