Section 22-8-23.11 - K-5 plus program units.
The number of K-5 plus program units is determined by multiplying the MEM in department-approved K-5 plus programs by the cost differential factor of 0.3. For each reporting date, MEM in K-5 plus programs shall be equal to the number of qualified students on a date specified by department rule.

ANNOTATIONSDuplicate laws. — Laws 2019, ch. 206, § 17, effective June 14, 2019, and Laws 2019, ch. 207, § 17, effective June 14, 2019, enacted identical new sections. The section was set out as enacted by Laws 2019, ch. 207, § 16. See 12-1-8 NMSA 1978.
Applicability. — Laws 2019, ch. 206, § 29 provided that the provisions of Laws 2019, ch. 207, § 17 apply to the program cost calculation in fiscal year 2020 and subsequent fiscal years.
