Section 12-5-16 - Firefighter Day of Remembrance.

Universal Citation: NM Stat § 12-5-16 (2019)

September 11 of each year shall be set apart and known as "Firefighter Day of Remembrance", celebrating the important, brave and compassionate work of firefighters and honoring all firefighters who have fallen in the line of duty.

ANNOTATIONS

Effective dates. — Laws 2007, ch. 242 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective June 15, 2007, 90 days after the adjournment of the legislature.
