Section 66-7-331 - Vehicle entering highway from private road or driveway.
The driver of a vehicle about to enter of [or] cross a highway from a private road or driveway shall yield the right-of-way to all vehicles approaching on said highway.

Not negligent if stopped and looked before entering street. — The evidence that plaintiff stopped, looked and found road free of traffic for a distance of 300 feet before entering it establishes reasonable compliance with the law and the plaintiff is therefore free from negligence.
