76-6-9. Penalties.

A. Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of the Pest Control Act [76-6-1 to 76-6-9 NMSA 1978], or any rule, regulation or quarantine promulgated by the board, or who shall alter, forge or counterfeit, or use without authority any certificate or permit or other document provided for in the Pest Control Act or in the regulations of the board provided for in the Pest Control Act, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.

B. Any person who has knowingly moved any regulated article into this state from any quarantined area of any other state, which article has not been treated or handled under provisions of the quarantine and regulations in effect at the point of origin, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
