45-7-522. Severability.
If any provision of the Uniform Custodial Trust Act [45-7-501 NMSA 1978] or its application to any person or circumstance is held invalid, the invalidity does not affect other provisions or applications of that act that can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of that act are severable.
