45-2-1116. Application to existing relationships. (Effective January 1, 2012.)
Except as otherwise provided in Section 13 of the Uniform Disclaimer of Property Interests Act [45-2-1113 NMSA 1978], an interest in or power over property existing on the effective date of that act as to which the time for delivering or filing a disclaimer under law superseded by that act has not expired may be disclaimed after the effective date of that act.
