45-1-301. Application.

Except as otherwise provided in the [Uniform] Probate Code [45-1-101 NMSA 1978], the code applies to:

A. the affairs and estates of decedents, missing person s and protected persons, domiciled in New Mexico;

B. the property of nonresidents located in New Mexico or property coming into the control of a fiduciary who is subject to the laws of New Mexico;

C. incapacitated persons and minors in New Mexico;

D. survivorship and related accounts in New Mexico; and

E. trusts subject to administration in New Mexico.
