Article 32 - Thanatopractice
Section 61-32-26 - Fund established. (Repealed effective July 1, 2012.)

61-32-26. Fund established. (Repealed effective July 1, 2012.)

A.     There is created in the state treasury the "thanatopractice fund".   

B.     All money received or collected by the board or the department pursuant to provisions of the Thanatopractice Act [61-32-1 NMSA 1978] shall be deposited with the state treasurer for credit to the thanatopractice fund. The state treasurer shall invest the fund as other state funds are invested. All balances in the fund at the end of any fiscal year shall remain in the fund and shall not revert to the general fund.   

C.     Money in the thanatopractice fund is appropriated to the board and shall be used only for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of the Thanatopractice Act.
