53-16-14. Notification to attorney general.

The commission shall certify to the attorney general, from time to time, the names of all corporations which have given cause for dissolution as provided by the Business Corporation Act [Chapter 53, Articles 11 to 18 NMSA 1978], together with the facts pertinent thereto. Whenever the commission certifies the name of a corporation to the attorney general as having given cause for dissolution, the commission shall concurrently mail to the corporation at its registered office a notice that the certification has been made. Upon the receipt of the certification, the attorney general shall file an action in the name of the state against the corporation for its dissolution.
