28-10-11. State policy.
In order to further the efforts of New Mexico in alleviating the problems of the handicapped, full consideration shall be given to the employment of such persons in state government in positions where they meet the necessary performance requirements or in positions where performance requirements can be modified to take advantage of their abilities without detriment to the state service.
