277-A:9 Penalty.
Any person who violates any provisions of this chapter shall be liable for a penalty of not more than $2,500 for each such violation, to be collected in a civil action by the commissioner of labor. If the violation is of a continuing nature, each day during which it continues shall constitute an additional and separate offense.
