12-O:51 Statement of Findings and Purpose. –
The general court hereby finds that the development of a new offshore wind development industry is in the beginning stages of expanding to northern New England. It should be a goal of the state of New Hampshire to maximize the economic benefit that will come to the state as a result of this new industry. In furtherance of these objectives, the general court hereby establishes an office of offshore wind industry development in the department of business and economic affairs.
