Section 516:20 - Affirmation.

516:20 Affirmation. –
Persons scrupulous of swearing may affirm; the word "affirm" being used in administering the oath, instead of the word "swear," and the words "this you do under the pains and penalties of perjury," instead of the words "So help you God."
