Chapter 553 - ADMINISTRATORS AND THEIR APPOINTMENT
Section 553:20 - Appointment.

    553:20 Appointment. – Whenever, by reason of the trial of factual issues in a proceeding involving the validity of a will, or by reason of an appeal from the appointment of an administrator on questions of law, or from any other cause, there is delay in determining the final grant of administration upon the estate of a decedent, a special administrator may be appointed, if the interests of the estate require it.
