Chapter 186 - THE STATE SCHOOL ORGANIZATION
Section 186:61 - Establishment of Adult High School Education Program.

    186:61 Establishment of Adult High School Education Program. –
    I. The state board of education shall establish and promote an educational program for adults to earn a high school diploma or its equivalent. This program shall be administered by the division of career technology and adult learning, department of education, in accordance with the rules adopted by the state board.
    II. The state board of education shall adopt rules, pursuant to RSA 541-A, relative to:
       (a) The issuance of high school diplomas to adults.
       (b) The issuance of high school equivalency certificates based on uniform educational criteria.
       (c) Designation of public schools and institutions of higher education to serve as testing centers for high school equivalency certificate examinations.
