408:18 Limitation Upon Licenses. – No corporation organized under the authority of any other state or country and engaged in the business of casualty insurance upon the assessment plan shall be licensed under the provisions of RSA 408:17 except as hereinafter provided; but any such corporation whose license under said provisions was in full force on June 1, 1939, may have said license to do business in this state renewed so long as the commissioner deems the corporation safe, reliable, and entitled to confidence.
