Section 402:16-a - Travel Agent Insurance Licensing.

    402:16-a Travel Agent Insurance Licensing. –
    I. The commissioner may issue a limited travel agent's license without examination to a resident of this state upon filing with the commissioner an application for a license and the fee prescribed in RSA 400-A:29.
    II. A limited travel agent's license shall only be issued to a ticket selling agent or other representative of a common carrier who acts thereunder and is appointed by a licensed insurer only with reference to the issuance of insurance on personal effects carried as baggage, in connection with the transportation provided by the common carrier, or travel agents selling limited travel accident insurance in transportation terminals.
    III. A license issued under this section enables the licensee to solicit and sell only over-the-counter, short-term, nonrenewable travel accident ticket policies and baggage insurance of such licensed insurer.
