Chapter 31 - Attachment, Garnishment and Other Extraordinary Remedies
NRS 31.700 - Liability of sheriff for escape or rescue.
Universal Citation: NV Rev Stat § 31.700 (2022)
If, after being arrested, the defendant escape or be rescued, the sheriff shall be liable as bail; but the sheriff may discharge himself or herself from such liability by the giving and justification of bail at any time before judgment.
