Chapter 293 - Elections
NRS 293.2693 - Voter education program to be provided in county or city using paper ballots. [Effective through December 31, 2021.] Voter education program to be provided in county or city using paper ballots. [Effective January 1, 2022.]
If a county or city uses paper ballots, including, without limitation, for absent ballots and ballots voted in a mailing precinct, the county or city clerk shall provide a voter education program specific to the voting system used by the county or city. The voter education program must include, without limitation, information concerning the effect of overvoting and the procedures for correcting a vote on a ballot before it is cast and counted and for obtaining a replacement ballot.
