NRS 686A.027 - Unfair acts and practices: Use of contractual discount without applicable contractual relationship. [Effective January 1, 2020.]

Universal Citation: NV Rev Stat § 686A.027 (2021)

It constitutes an unfair method of competition or an unfair or deceptive act or practice in the business of insurance to knowingly access or utilize a contractual discount of a provider of health care pursuant to a provider network contract without a contractual relationship with the provider of health care, health carrier or third party as specified in NRS 687B.693 to 687B.697, inclusive.
