NRS 681A.290 - "Cede" defined.
Universal Citation: NV Rev Stat § 681A.290 (2021)
"Cede" means to pass on to another insurer, who is designated the reinsurer, all or part of the insurance written by an insurer with the object of reducing the possible liability of the ceding insurer.
