Chapter 120A - Unclaimed Property (Uniform Act)
NRS 120A.733 - Fraudulent claims; penalty.

Universal Citation: NV Rev Stat § 120A.733 (2021)

Any person who knowingly makes a fraudulent claim from the Administrator on the property of another with the intent to deprive that person of the property shall be punished:

1. Where the value of the property involved is $650 or more, for a category C felony as provided in NRS 193.130. In addition to any other penalty, the court shall order the person to pay restitution.

2. Where the value of the property is less than $650, for a misdemeanor.
