Chapter 440 - Vital Statistics
NRS 440.740 - Failure or refusal to file certificate of birth with local health officer.

Universal Citation: NV Rev Stat § 440.740 (2020)

Any physician or midwife in attendance upon a case of confinement or any person charged with responsibility for reporting births who neglects or refuses to file a proper certificate of birth with the local health officer within the time required by law shall be punished by a fine of not more than $250.
