Chapter 433B - Additional Provisions Relating to Children
NRS 433B.045 - "Child with an emotional disturbance" defined.

Universal Citation: NV Rev Stat § 433B.045 (2020)

"Child with an emotional disturbance" means a child whose progressive development of personality is interfered with or arrested by mental disorder so that the child shows impairment in the capacity expected of the child for his or her age and endowment for:

1. A reasonably accurate perception of the world around him or her;

2. Control of his or her impulses;

3. Satisfying and satisfactory relationships with others;

4. Learning; or

5. Any combination of these factors.
