NRS 239C.430 - Compensation of members.

Universal Citation: NV Rev Stat § 239C.430 (2020)

1. A member of the Nevada Resilience Advisory Committee or any subcommittee formed pursuant to NRS 239C.450 may not receive any compensation for his or her services as a member of the Committee or the subcommittee.

2. Any member of the Committee or any subcommittee formed pursuant to NRS 239C.450 who is a public employee must be granted administrative leave from his or her duties to engage in the business of the Committee or subcommittee, as applicable, without loss of his or her regular compensation. Such leave does not reduce the amount of his or her other accrued leave.

3. Each member of the Committee or any subcommittee formed pursuant to NRS 239C.450 is entitled, while engaged in the business of the Committee or subcommittee, to receive the per diem allowance and travel expenses provided for state officers and employees generally. The per diem allowance and travel expenses provided to a member of the Committee or subcommittee who is an officer or employee of the State of Nevada or a political subdivision of this State must be paid by the state agency or political subdivision which employs him or her.
