Chapter 687B - Contracts of Insurance
NRS 687B.710 - Provisions to be construed in favor of covered person, survive termination of contract and supersede certain contrary agreements.

Universal Citation: NV Rev Stat § 687B.710 (2019)

The provisions included in a contract to comply with the requirements set forth in NRS 687B.690 and 687B.700 shall be construed in favor of the covered person, shall survive the termination of the contract regardless of the reason for the termination, including, without limitation, the insolvency of the health carrier or any applicable intermediary, and shall supersede any oral or written contrary agreement between a participating provider of health care and a covered person or the representative of a covered person if the contrary agreement is inconsistent with provisions included in the contract to comply with the requirements set forth in NRS 687B.690 and 687B.700.
