Chapter 645H - Asset Management Companies and Asset Managers
NRS 645H.040 - “Asset management company” defined. [Effective through December 31, 2019.]

Universal Citation: NV Rev Stat § 645H.040 (2019)

“Asset management company” means a person, limited-liability company, partnership, association or corporation which, for compensation and pursuant to a contractual agreement, power of attorney or other legal authorization, engages in asset management on behalf of:

1. A bank, mortgage broker, mortgage banker, mortgage servicer as that term is defined in NRS 645F.063, credit union, thrift company, savings and loan association or savings bank, or any subsidiary thereof which is authorized to transact business in this State;

2. A mortgage holding entity chartered by Congress; or

3. A federal, state or local governmental entity.
