Chapter 281A - Ethics in Government
NRS 281A.770 - General standards for resolving ethics complaints by stipulations, agreed settlements or consent orders and for approving deferral agreements.
Universal Citation: NV Rev Stat § 281A.770 (2019)
In any matter in which the Commission disposes of an ethics complaint by stipulation, agreed settlement or consent order or in which the review panel approves a deferral agreement, the Commission or the review panel, as appropriate, shall treat comparable situations in a comparable manner and shall ensure that the disposition of the matter bears a reasonable relationship to the severity of the violation or alleged violation.
