Chapter 176 - Judgment and Execution
NRS 176.486 - Authority to enter stay of execution.

Universal Citation: NV Rev Stat § 176.486 (2017)
A district court having proper jurisdiction, the Court of Appeals or the Supreme Court, if it has proper jurisdiction, may stay the execution of a sentence of death when a postconviction petition for habeas corpus has been filed only after appropriate notice has been given to the appropriate respondent in the case.
