Chapter 695A - Fraternal Benefit Societies
NRS 695A.530 - Applicability of statutory provisions relating to trade practices and frauds.

NV Rev Stat § 695A.530 (2014) What's This?

A society authorized to do business in this state and its agents are subject to the provisions of chapter 686A of NRS relating to trade practices and frauds, except that nothing in that chapter applies to or affects:

1. The right of a society to determine its eligibility requirements for membership; or

2. The offering of benefits exclusively to members or persons eligible for membership in the society by a subsidiary corporation or affiliated organization of the society.
