NRS 644.310 - Requirements for licensing of person licensed in another state or territory or District of Columbia.

NV Rev Stat § 644.310 (2014) What's This?

Except as otherwise provided in NRS 644.209, upon application to the Board, accompanied by a fee of $200, a person currently licensed in any branch of cosmetology under the laws of another state or territory of the United States or the District of Columbia may, without examination, unless the Board sees fit to require an examination, be granted a license to practice the occupation in which the applicant was previously licensed upon proof satisfactory to the Board that the applicant:

1. Is not less than 18 years of age.

2. Is of good moral character.

3. Is a citizen of the United States or is lawfully entitled to remain and work in the United States.

4. Has successfully completed a nationally recognized written examination in this State or in the state or territory or the District of Columbia in which he or she is licensed.

5. Is currently licensed in another state or territory or the District of Columbia.
