NRS 641C.010 - Legislative declaration.

NV Rev Stat § 641C.010 (2014) What's This?

The practice of counseling alcohol and drug abusers, the clinical practice of counseling alcohol and drug abusers and the practice of counseling problem gamblers are hereby declared to be learned professions affecting public health, safety and welfare and are subject to regulation to protect the public from the practice of counseling alcohol and drug abusers, the clinical practice of counseling alcohol and drug abusers and the practice of counseling problem gamblers by unqualified persons and from unprofessional conduct by persons who are licensed or certified to engage in the practice of counseling alcohol and drug abusers, licensed to engage in the clinical practice of counseling alcohol and drug abusers or certified to engage in the practice of counseling problem gamblers.
