Chapter 483 - Drivers’ Licenses; Driving Schools and Driving Instructors
NRS 483.083 - License defined. [Effective through December 31, 2013.]
License means any driver s license or permit to operate a vehicle issued under or granted by the laws of this State, including:
1. Any temporary license or instruction permit; and
2. The future privilege to drive a vehicle by a person who does not hold a driver s license.

NRS 483.083 License defined. [Effective January 1, 2014.] License means any driver s license or permit to operate a vehicle issued under or granted by the laws of this State, including:
1. Any temporary license;
2. Any instruction permit obtained in accordance with NRS 483.290; and
3. The future privilege to drive a vehicle by a person who does not hold a driver s license.
