NRS 155.210 - Power of Supreme Court on appeal. [Effective through December 31, 2014, and after that date unless the provisions of Senate Joint Resolution No. 14 (2011) are approved and ratified by the voters at the 2014 General Election.]


NV Rev Stat § 155.210 (2013) What's This?

1. Upon an appeal, the Supreme Court may reverse, affirm or modify the order appealed from, and as to any or all of the parties, and order a remittitur as in other cases, and may order costs to be paid by any party to the proceeding, or out of the estate, as justice may require.

2. Execution for costs may issue out of the district court.

NRS 155.210 Power of appellate court on appeal. [Effective January 1, 2015, if the provisions of Senate Joint Resolution No. 14 (2011) are approved and ratified by the voters at the 2014 General Election.]

1. Upon an appeal, the appellate court of competent jurisdiction pursuant to the rules fixed by the Supreme Court pursuant to Section 4 of Article 6 of the Nevada Constitution may reverse, affirm or modify the order appealed from, and as to any or all of the parties, and order a remittitur as in other cases, and may order costs to be paid by any party to the proceeding, or out of the estate, as justice may require.

2. Execution for costs may issue out of the district court.
