Chapter 130 - Interjurisdictional Enforcement of Support
NRS 130.318 - Assistance with discovery. [Effective until the date that the provisions of The Hague Convention on the International Recovery of Child Support and Other Forms of Family Maintenance is ratified by the President and the United States deposits its instrument of ratification.]


NV Rev Stat § 130.318 (2013) What's This?

A tribunal of this state may:

1. Request a tribunal of another state to assist in obtaining discovery; and

2. Upon request, compel a person over whom it has jurisdiction to respond to a discovery order issued by a tribunal of another state.

NRS 130.318 Assistance with discovery. [Effective on the date that the provisions of The Hague Convention on the International Recovery of Child Support and Other Forms of Family Maintenance is ratified by the President and the United States deposits its instrument of ratification.] A tribunal of this State may:

1. Request a tribunal outside this State to assist in obtaining discovery; and

2. Upon request, compel a person over which it has jurisdiction to respond to a discovery order issued by a tribunal outside this State.
