Chapter 130 - Interjurisdictional Enforcement of Support
NRS 130.10151 - Obligee defined. [Effective until the date that the provisions of The Hague Convention on the International Recovery of Child Support and Other Forms of Family Maintenance is ratified by the President and the United States deposits its instrument of ratification.]


NV Rev Stat § 130.10151 (2013) What's This?

Obligee means:

1. A natural person to whom a duty of support is or is alleged to be owed or in whose favor a support order has been issued or a judgment determining parentage has been rendered;

2. A state or political subdivision to which the rights under a duty of support or support order have been assigned or which has independent claims based on financial assistance provided to an individual obligee; or

3. A natural person seeking a judgment determining parentage of his or her child.

1. A natural person to whom a duty of support is or is alleged to be owed or in whose favor a support order or a judgment determining parentage of a child has been issued;

2. A foreign country, state or political subdivision of a state to which the rights under a duty of support or support order have been assigned or which has independent claims based on financial assistance provided to an individual obligee in place of child support;

3. A natural person seeking a judgment determining parentage of his or her child; or

4. A person that is a creditor in a proceeding under NRS 130.7011 to 130.713, inclusive.
