Any savings and loan association eligible to become a member of the Federal Home Loan Bank, may convert itself into a federal savings and loan association pursuant to the Home Owners Loan Act of 1933, 12 U.S.C. 1461 to 1468, inclusive, with the same effect as though originally incorporated under that act, and the proceedings to effect the conversion shall be as outlined in NRS 673.610 to 673.640, inclusive.
